F45 Cairns gym air-conditioning was old and inefficient. It was time for an upgrade and they contacted Cairns A/C & Refrigeration. We started the project with a site inspection and discussion with the owner, Chris, about his future expansion and operational plans. Once we understood the requirements and direction, we developed a commercial air-conditioning solution which would work, keeping Chris and his crew cool.
This project required some engineering specifications, as it was decided to remove a wall to create a more open style room for classes. Once we measured the space and took into account the amount of people that would be in there, we designed an effective Cairns gym air-conditioning system, tailored to the F45 space.
Once quotes and works were approved, we set to work. This new Cairns gym air-conditioning system comprises 3 x 14kw Cassette style Daikin air Conditioners in the main gym area and a 9kw Daikin in the back room.
With a commitment to sustainability, we decommissioned and reclaimed the gas from the existing units and environmentally disposed of them. The new commercial air-conditioning system is keeping Chris and the gym cool and comfortable.
